Returning Flow Surge Occurs at Seven Bus Terminals

Jakarta Transportation Agency recorded significant passenger number during Eid returning flow 2025.

This reflects the high people mobility

Based on data recapitulation from seven bus terminals namely Pulo Gebang, Kampung Rambutan, Kalideres, Tanjung Priok, Lebak Bulus, Grogol and Angke, there were 23,385 passengers arrived on April 6. The number is 29.15 percent higher compared to same period last year.

Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo said the arrival number reached 486.05 percent and 18.64 percent on departure compared to normal periods on February 14-20, 2025.

"Overall, the departure number from seven bus terminals on March 24 to April 6 increased by 44.56 percent. Then the arrival increased to 99.49 percent compared to same period last year," Syafrin said, Tuesday (4/8).

The number is 0.40 percent lower compared to the homecoming peak on March 24, 2024. In fact, the passenger movement volume shows a significant upward trend.

"This reflects the high people mobility during this year's homecoming season," he stated.
